Intumescent Fire Retardant Coating 1.0h

NSP-BD-C
Indoor intumescent steel structure fire retardant coating is applied to the surface of steel components. When exposed to fire, the coating expands and foams to form a dense carbon layer, which isolates the air, delays the heating speed of steel components, and prevents the steel components from heating up quickly, thereby increasing the fire resistance of steel components. This product can meet the requirements of fire protection with a fire resistance limit of 0.5 h-2.5 h, and is suitable for steel structural components such as beams, roof load-bearing components, stairs, and floor decking that are supported in the first fire resistance level of building design fire resistance. Steel structural components such as columns, beams, roof load-bearing components, and evacuation stairs that support single layers in the second to fourth fire resistance levels. The technical indicators meet the national standard GB 14907-2018.
Main features:
1. Good protection performance.
2. Fast drying and strong hardness.
3. Strong adhesion and good mechanical properties.
4. Good matching performance with the substrate and excellent fireproof performance.
Scope of application: Widely used in steel structures such as stations, industrial plants, stadiums, bridges, power equipment, high-rise buildings, etc.
Construction instructions:
1. Surface treatment of steel components - apply anti-rust primer - apply fire-retardant paint - apply topcoat.
2. Before applying fire-retardant paint, dust, oil and other debris on the surface of steel components should be thoroughly removed. At the same time, the surface of steel components should be rust-free and anti-rust primer should be applied.
3. The thickness of anti-rust primer is controlled according to design requirements.
4. This product is suitable for spraying. Spraying can be done with a bucket spray gun with a muzzle diameter of 6~8mm, or it can be applied by rolling. Before applying the paint, the paint should be fully stirred and evenly mixed. If the paint is too thick, add an appropriate amount of water to dilute it to a suitable coating without flowing.
5. The first coat of construction should not be too thick, generally controlled between 0.3-0.5mm, and the next coat should be applied after the surface is dry (usually 4-8h interval). The thickness of each subsequent coat can be controlled at 0.5-0.8mm until the standard thickness required for the corresponding fire resistance grade is reached.
6. The thickness of the topcoat film is controlled according to the design requirements.
7. During the construction process and before the coating is dried and cured, the ambient temperature should be maintained at 5~45℃, the relative humidity should not be greater than 85%, and the air should be circulated.
8. Whether during the construction process or after the construction is completed (the paint film has not dried to form a film), the fire-retardant coating should be kept indoors or under shelter to avoid rain.
Storage and transportation:
The packaging of the fine indoor intumescent steel structure fire-retardant coating is: 25Kg/barrel.
The basic color of this product is white, and the color can also be adjusted according to demand, but different batches of products will have some color differences during construction at different time periods, so please use with caution.
The storage temperature is 0C-25℃. It should be stored in a ventilated and dry warehouse, away from fire sources. It is forbidden to expose it to the sun, rain, heavy pressure, inversion, and it is strictly forbidden to mix it with other dangerous chemicals.
If stored properly, the shelf life is 8 months.
